Masks will be required for this event. There will be times when we are outside and 6 feet apart that masks may be removed.

Class will begin with a group reading of the book “The World Needs More Purple People” by Kristen Bell and Benjamin Hart. After reading the book we will have a 30 minute yoga class led by Sara Mingus. Parents are encouraged to join the children during yoga! Please bring a yoga mat or beach towel for yoga.

After we’ve opened our bodies on the mat we will open our minds with an art class led by Nicole.

Purple People Sidewalk Mural
Children will explore color theory and color mixing by creating tones of purple by combining blue, red, and varying levels of white sidewalk chalk with water. We will then use our newly-created purple sidewalk paint to create a joyful Purple People sidewalk mural of self portraits.
